The Kremlin once again called on the Greek authorities not to supply S-300 missiles to Ukraine, otherwise there will be a counter-response.

Through a statement to the media, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Greece cannot supply Kiev with the weapons it received from Russia, otherwise it would violate the military agreement between the two countries, signed years ago.

"We are talking about a serious violation of the provisions of the Russian-Greek intergovernmental agreement on military technical cooperation of October 30, 1995 and on the supply of military products of December 3, 2013, which clearly prohibit Greece from re-exporting military equipment received from us, to a third party, without Russia's consent," said Maria Zakharova.

Threatening Athens with unprecedented consequences if it helps Ukraine with Russian arms supplies, Zakharova has stated that in such a case, all military equipment sent to Kiev will be tracked down and destroyed by Russian forces.
