The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo (MPJD) has called on its citizens to avoid crossing through the territory of Serbia. This call comes after the tense situation in Serbia and violent protests by local Serbs.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has invited citizens to use alternative travel routes.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo invites citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to avoid crossing through Serbia due to the situation in the north of the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo calls on all citizens to avoid crossing through Serbia.

During the day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received reports of arrests of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo by the Serbian authorities during their passage through Serbia, and is dealing closely with the cases through the Liaison Office in Belgrade.

Taking into account the recent developments, and recognizing the incorrect approach of the Serbian authorities, in order to avoid any incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites citizens to use alternative routes for travel.
