The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has not given up on the decision that the mayors of northern municipalities exercise their duties in municipal facilities, despite the situation created in the north.

Kurti said that the presidents elected there are legal and must exercise their mandate based on their competences.

"There should not be parallelism in the north, we do not accept that the presidents exercise their duties in parallel offices", he told reporters.

As for the relations with the USA, Kurti has said that they are excellent, but there are cases when they differ in approach, which according to him is not essential.
