Italian mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro is in good health. He has overcome the first chemotherapy and is expected to undergo the second in the coming weeks.

The doctors who are treating Denaro, in the prison of "L'Aquila" under the 41 bis regime, are following all the latest and modern procedures for treating these cases.

The leader of the team of doctors who are personally dealing with the case of the mafia boss is Professor Luciano Mutti, the chief oncologist at the L'Aquila hospital.

The latter stated that during the communication with his "VIP" patient, the latter had told him:

"I didn't have a cultural education, but I read hundreds of books about my cancer, treat me well. Cure me with special medicines from Israel."
