28-year-old Ashley Dale was found murdered in her front yard in the Old Swan area of Liverpool on Sunday. Dale is dead after being shot.
The investigators who are dealing with the case of the 28-year-old have discovered from the security cameras that a car passed in that area shortly before the incident was reported.
Family members paid their last respects to the girl and condemned the senseless killing of the Knowsley Council worker. However, the police do not think that she was the target of the murder.
According to Sky News, Merseyside Police were called just after 12.44am on Saturday and found the young woman with serious burn injuries. Dale was rushed to hospital but died moments later.
According to the police, the cause of death was a single fire wound. The images from the security cameras show that the car passed in that area around 12:30, that is, 10 minutes before the incident was reported.
Police officers want to take the driver's statement as they suspect he may have more information about what happened.
From the security cameras, the investigators have seen that many people have passed in that area close to the time when the accident happened and will seek their testimonies to clarify this tragic event.
