The friendly match between Italy and the red and black national team will be played at the "Air Albania" national stadium. This was confirmed by Gabriele Gravina, the president of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation).
"We have a meeting with the technical staff for the two friendlies we will play during the World Cup. Most likely, one of them will be with Albania in Tirana", said Gravina in a statement to RadioRai.
The four-time world champions failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18), which Roberto Mancini's side will use to play two friendlies. The last major match at the national stadium was the Conference League final between Roma and Feyenoord, which was won 1-0 by the Italians.
