The war increasingly affects the Russian land. Ukraine's General Staff confirmed that Kiev forces hit two Russian military depots containing "thousands of tons of ammunition".
"We hit the Tikhoretsk arsenal in Krasnodar," the General Staff announced, calling the warehouse "one of the three largest ammunition depots of the invaders and one of the most important in the logistics system of the Russian troops."
At the time of the attack, "a train was present to send at least 2,000 tons of ammunition, also from North Korea."
Kiev also claims to have targeted a weapons depot in the Tver region. This comes at a time when Ukraine has not yet received the green light for using Western weapons against Russian territory.
"We have long-range weapons at our disposal", but "neither America nor Great Britain gave us permission to use these weapons on the territory of Russia, for any purpose and at any distance".
This was said by the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking to journalists. He also announced a peace proposal. Ukraine has prepared three points of the plan, which will form the basis for "talking in any format with Russia".
Meanwhile, online meetings have already been held with the Russian side. This is what the president of Ukraine declared, writes the media "Interfax-Ukraine". According to Zelensky, the full plan will be ready in November. At the same time, the president believes that currently the Russian Federation wants to "simply continue the war".
