Estonian athlete Jaan Roose has become the first person to make an intercontinental crossing on a tight rope and at a height of 165 meters.

The video footage shared quickly went viral on the networks and in the media.

The 32-year-old crossed the Bosphorus in Istanbul, starting from the Asian side of the strait and ending his passage on the European side, as he walked on a special rope, just over a kilometer long, exactly 1,074 meters, which connected the two poles of the famous bridge, writes "La Repubblica".

And it took him just under 50 minutes to complete the crossing.
