The Serbian Armed Forces are currently conducting the exercise called "Flag 2024" on the occasion of the Serbian Union, Freedom and National Flag Day. At the military airport "Pilot Colonel Milenko Pavlović" were exhibited numerous military armaments and equipment, while the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, was also attended.

The latter has claimed that the Serbian army is the first or perhaps the second strongest in Europe. He has boasted of the large number of tanks, radars and missiles.

"In terms of the number of operational and operational tanks, we are the first or second in Europe. I know 15 countries that have as many tanks as we do. I was here in 2013 and we couldn't even dream of this. No one showed HQ-17, we have new radars... Fifty percent of the country of production is Serbia and this makes us one of the most armed armies in Europe in relation to the number of inhabitants," Vucic said in Batajnica.
