There may be a meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia Aleksandër Vucic in Paris.

The announcement was made by Kurti himself, who will be in France on Thursday to participate in the Peace Forum. Serbian President Vucic will also be present at this event, with whom Kurti says he may have a tripartite meeting.

"Tomorrow, that is, Thursday, early in the morning I will leave for Paris to participate in the Peace Forum, together with my wife Rita, and at the invitation of the French President Emmanuel Macron. In addition to the work and dinner during this prestigious forum, there may also be a trilateral meeting with the President of Serbia who has also been invited there. I will have my six-member team from the prime minister with me. I am ready because I am prepared, and always interested, for dialogue for agreement, for complete normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, with mutual recognition at the center. We have two proposals on the table: mine for the general framework of the agreement presented at the meeting on August 18, 2022 in Brussels, as well as the Franco-German proposal that has the support of the United States of America and the European Union, presented by emissaries Jens Plötner and Emmanuel Bonne. Principled dialogue with others, the rule of law equally for everyone, and peace and security in the entire territory, go together," Kurti writes on Facebook.

The Serbs in Kosovo have withdrawn from all institutions of the Kosovar state, creating a tense situation in the country, especially in the north.
