The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti , present at the Bratislava forum, said that the situation in the North is not the result of citizens' protests, but of people armed with symbols of Russia.
Kurti said that it would be very understanding if the Serbian residents of the northern municipalities would protest peacefully to request a repeat of the elections. But he added that the government of Kosovo will never hand over the democratic republic to the fascists who abuse the police and shout " kill, kill ".
Albin Kurti spoke at the Globsec forum in Bratislava. He continued with his position that the elected mayors in the north should be in the municipal buildings.
Kurti spoke to CNN analyst Kim Dozler about the developments in the north of the country, for which Kosovo is facing punishments from the United States of America.
He went on to say that Kosovo's special units should be out of municipal buildings. Regarding these special units, he said that they knew human rights and that they had not committed violations against the Serbian community that was protesting.
" If these mayors will not be in the municipal buildings, where will they go? Who will be in those municipal buildings? - he asked the analyst in front of him.
