The ambassador of Ukraine in Albania, Volodymyr Shkurov, has positively evaluated the summit held yesterday in Tirana between the EU and the Western Balkans, where, according to him, the main topic was the war in Ukraine.

During an interview for the show "Zone Zero" on "Top News", he stated that there are some pro-European changes for Serbia, despite the non-imposition of sanctions against Russia.

Asked when Ukraine will recognize Kosovo as an independent state, Shkurov said that this is a political decision that will take time.

"We also know the position that Kosovo has. Kosovo has provided humanitarian aid. There are good opinions about Kosovo in Ukraine. There is time to make a political decision because today they are committed to resolving the war and ending it. The decision political needs some time, but I have a positive opinion. Ukraine is conditional and wants its liberation," said Shkurov.

The Ukrainian diplomat further said that today Ukraine needs generators and equipment for heating and for this they have made official requests.
