Tensions in the north of Kosovo

Monday started again with tensions in the 4 municipalities in the north of Kosovo. Serbian citizens have started the protest, while in the four municipalities there is an increased presence of the Kosovo police and KFOR.

In the municipality of Zveçan, a few minutes ago, the police were forced to throw tear gas at the door of the building to drive away the protesters.

Meanwhile, it is known that Lista Serbe has submitted two requests for the removal of protesters from the municipality facility, which are related to the removal of the Kosovo police from the area and the resignation of the new mayors elected in the April 23 elections.

We remind you that the EU and the US have come out against this action of the government of Kosovo, among others Vucic said that the situation is more tense than ever before.
