The Central Election Commission of Kosovo has reacted in a statement to the media following the website's problems with updating election results.

The CEC has stated that the problems with the website have not affected the actual election results, emphasizing that citizens' votes are secure and unaffected.

CEC Chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi stated that the counting and updating of data will continue to be done manually.

"Under these circumstances, the CEC has reviewed the situation and has decided to collect data manually from all polling stations through results forms for political entities, which have already been completed at polling stations after the ballots have been counted," said Radoniqi.

Meanwhile, some media outlets in Kosovo report that the Prosecutor's Office has ordered an investigation into what allegedly happened to the CEC.
