Republican congresswoman criticizes Trump: Operation in Venezuela is about
Marjorie Taylor Greene

US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has sharply criticized President Donald Trump for the military operation in Venezuela, describing it as a clear move to control the country's oil supplies.

“Maduro’s removal is a clear move for control over Venezuelan oil supplies,” she wrote in an X post, adding that this would serve “the next clear war for regime change in Iran.”

She accused Trump of double standards, raising the question: " Is it right for America to invade, bomb and arrest a foreign leader, while Russia is bad if it invades Ukraine and China is bad if it attacks Taiwan? Is it only good if we do it?"

Greene added that Americans are tired of endless military aggression and support for foreign wars, which she said cost American taxpayers. “Many in the MAGA movement thought they had voted to end all of this. Friends, how wrong we were! ” she concluded.
