Turkey has arrested the builder Mehmet Yasar Cosku, while he was trying to flee the country.
According to the Turkish news agency Anadolu, he had built the huge Ronesans Rezidans complex in Hatay, which completely collapsed in Monday's earthquake.
The massive structure, completed in 2013, was 12 stories high, had 250 apartments and was estimated to have housed 1,000 people at the time it collapsed.
According to Hurriyet, the businessman was arrested at Istanbul airport, was on his way to Montenegro and had money with him at the time of his arrest.

Earlier, the Turkish Minister of Justice, Bekir Bozdag, stated that the investigation has started against the builders in the regions affected by the earthquake.
In a press conference, he says that anyone who is guilty, or who has been negligent, will be brought to justice and will be held accountable.
More than 22 thousand people have lost their lives, according to the figures so far, from the earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday.
