"Time to send a message to Israel!", Stoltenberg: More must be done to
Jens Stoltenberg

The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview given today to the BBC, said that he condemns the attacks that took the lives of seven aid workers in Gaza.

Asked if he thinks Israel has "already gone too far", Stoltenberg said it is very important that NATO allies, including the US, send a very clear message to Israel that they must do more much to protect civilians and workers of humanitarian organizations.

He also welcomed efforts by the US, Britain and other countries to mediate negotiations aimed at a ceasefire.
