US President Donald Trump has published a lengthy response on the social media platform 'Truth' regarding an Israeli attack on the 'South Pars' gas field in Iran, which occurred on Wednesday evening.

In response, Iran has struck the Ras Laffan industrial zone in Qatar, which includes one of the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing plants.

In his statement, Trump stressed that the United States had "no knowledge" of the Israeli attack and that Qatar had no involvement or prior information about it. He added that Israel reacted "harshly" as a result of tensions in the Middle East.

According to him, Iran was not aware of this and therefore the attack on Ras Laffan was "unjustified and unjust".

Trump also warned that Israel will not launch another attack on the South Pars field unless Iran decides to strike another country that he considers innocent, in this case Qatar.


Trump threatened that if Iran attacks Qatar again, the US will respond by massively striking the entire South Pars gas field, "with a force and power that Iran has never seen before."

However, Trump stressed that he does not want to authorize such a level of violence due to the long-term consequences for Iran, but warned that he would not hesitate to act if Qatar's LNG infrastructure is attacked again.
