Israeli planes flew over the Gaza Strip this morning, dropping millions of pamphlets with a single message to Palestinians: "leave Gaza within 24 hours."
There are about 1.2 million Palestinians living in this territory, many of whom are currently suffering from successive Israeli bombings.
Israel has amassed a massive army on the border with Gaza, and many believe it is planning to launch a ground offensive.
So Hamas, which currently controls Gaza, has told local residents to ignore Israeli warnings.
Even for the diplomat of the European Union, Joseph Borrell, the movement of over 1 million inhabitants within 24 hours is something "unrealistic".
"It is completely unrealistic that a million people can move in 24 hours," said Josep Borrell, the EU's foreign policy chief.
