Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a threat to Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, while acknowledging that Israel's joint air war with the US may not lead to the overthrow of the clerical government in Tehran.
In his press conference, the Israeli leader said that Iran "is no longer the same" after almost two weeks of bombing and that Tehran has suffered blows to the elite Revolutionary Guard and the Basij paramilitary force.
He also vowed that Israel would continue to strike Hezbollah in Lebanon, after the Iran-backed group opened fire on March 2 to avenge Israel's assassination of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei - Mojtaba Khamenei's father - at the start of the war.
