Hunter Biden, the son of former US President Joe Biden, got emotional in an interview with the BBC when he spoke about his father's health.

According to him, former US President Joe Biden's health condition has worsened, as prostate cancer has spread further and the 83-year-old is experiencing severe pain and fatigue, describing the situation as extremely difficult for the family.

Joe Biden was diagnosed in May 2025 with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which at the time of diagnosis had spread to the bones.

According to Hunter Biden, the disease has now spread even further.

"It's really hard. It's very sad to see," Hunter said, adding that despite his deteriorating condition, his father continues to be the center of the family.

"My father is at the center of our family," he said. "He's the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather."

Hunter Biden also spoke about the presidential pardon he received from Joe Biden in December 2024, as well as his battle with alcohol and cocaine addiction.

He told the BBC he is "the most privileged man ever" after receiving a presidential pardon from his father.

He admitted that this was not a good choice for America or his father's legacy.

He said he has no intention of entering politics, but wants to use his experience to speak more about addiction and the recovery process.
