An Australian blogger has been accused of poisoning her daughter to get money and increase her number of followers.
A Queensland woman said she was documenting her child's battle with a terminal illness on social media, but investigators say she was drugging the 1-year-old and filming her "in a horrific state and in pain."
Doctors raised the alarm in October when the child presented to the hospital during a critical health moment. After months of investigation, the 34-year-old is charged with torture, intentional poisoning, exploitation of a minor and fraud. She will face court on Friday.

From August to September, the woman gave the child medication without the doctor's approval and recommendation. She found ways to obtain the unauthorized medication and cover up her behavior, including using leftover medication that belonged to someone else.
On October 15, the child was hospitalized with “serious physical and emotional distress and injuries.” Test results for unapproved medications came back positive.
The blogger raised $37,300 through GoFundMe, which the website is trying to return.
Meanwhile, other people have been investigated, but there is no evidence of anyone's involvement.
