The trial in The Hague for former KLA leaders continues.
Former United States special envoy to Kosovo during the war, Christopher Hill, has testified in defense of Hashim Thaçi, accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the 1998-1999 war, when he was part of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Today is the second day of his testimony in The Hague.
On the first day, he was questioned by former President Thaçi's defense lawyer, Lluka Misetic.
"I have no reason to believe, nor did I hear at the time, that he had ordered any illegal activities, and as I understand it, he was held in custody for a period of time in connection with these matters. So I felt, when this was asked of me, after people contacted me, that I should say what I knew about the situation," Hill testified, among other things.
They were massacred and buried in a desert in Dubai, details of the murder of the Russian couple are revealed
