A German company based in Cologne is looking for a " cannabis expert " and for this has made an official vacancy announcement.

This person's job is to smell and taste the cannabis to test the quality. The payment for this will be 100 thousand euros per year.

The company distributes medical cannabis to German pharmacies. The plant is used to treat some chronic pain.

“ We are looking for someone to continuously monitor the standards of our growers in the source countries of Australia, Canada, Portugal, North Macedonia and Denmark. Here in Germany, he also has to check the quality of the delivered material ," said company boss David Henn.

" The prerequisite is that he himself is an active patient with cannabis. This is the only way he can legally consume cannabis in Germany ," added Henn.

So far more than 100 people have already expressed an interest.
