The submarine with 80 million euros of cocaine was captured

A submarine about 15 meters long with 2.6 tons of cocaine has been discovered in the Pacific Ocean, near Colombia. The submarine with cocaine worth about 80 million euros was captured by the Colombian navy, while four people were also found in it, two of them dead.

The Colombian authorities have also distributed images of the moment when they unload the submarine filled with cocaine.

Spanish media reports that the submarine allegedly belonged to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), which was created in the distant year 1964 to 2017 and tried to overthrow the government and establish a communist state. According to the media in Spain, this group is involved in drug trafficking, murder, kidnapping and other criminal activities.

Also, the Colombian media reported that the police also discovered a cocaine processing laboratory in a rural area near the northern city of Santa Marta, where two tons of cocaine were also found.

"Military forces found two people dead, while two others were in a serious state of health. It is suspected that there may have been a fuel leak inside the submarine. The two people were immediately transported to the hospital to receive medical assistance," the Ministry of Defense in Colombia said in a statement.
