A serious event occurred today in the city of Prizren, where a newborn baby was found without signs of life, near the City Park.

The case was confirmed to kosovo media, police spokesman for the Prizren Region, Vesel Gashi, who said that the lifeless body was found near the City Park.

He said the first suspects were murder. The case is being treated as 'murder of the newborn baby'.

"Police in Prizren have received information that near the City Park, from an eyewitness, there is a lifeless body that is a baby. The police response was immediate, relevant units were on the scene.

The State Prosecutor was notified and on his order the lifeless body was sent to IML for obduction. The emergency team also came to the scene, where the doctor found the baby's death. Regional investigations are being treated as 'Murder of the Newborn Baby', in consultation with the State Prosecutor, investigations will be launched and it is being treated as a case of this nature", Gashi said.
