U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will attend an informal dinner at the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) member states held in Skopje on November 30 and December 1, North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said on Saturday.

The delegation of a Russian delegation was also announced, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. But for his possible arrival, there is no official confirmation.

On November 24, the Government of North Macedonia decided to lift the ban on Flights of Russian aircraft only for the flight of the Russian delegation.

"We don't have to wait for everyone to stay for three days. These are important people who will come to some part of the event and leave. Whether they will coincide with the dates of their stay, I cannot say, because we are still determining them," Osmani said at the press conference.

Osmani said earlier that Lavrov sent him a letter in early November in which he "showed interest and a request to ensure his presence in Skopje."

A few days ago, Osmani said that visa applications of the Russian delegation are being processed and once information is available, the opinion will be informed.

"The decision on European Union sanctions does not apply to multilateral events such as osce, therefore it is a decision of governments that must bring it in, but it has a legal basis in the EU. Now, we and at least one of our neighboring countries must make such a decision. Bulgaria or Greece to enable such a flight," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani on November 15.
