The late payment of the rent is suspected to have been the reason that Vuk Borilovic grabbed the shotgun and carried out the Cetinje massacre yesterday afternoon in Montenegro where he killed 1o people, injured 6 others and then killed himself. The 34-year-old went to the tenant's apartment where he found his wife and two minor sons.

From the new details revealed recently, it is learned that he first shot the children, 11 and 8 years old, who tried to hide behind the door, and then their mother Natasha Pajović Martinović, a nurse. The two minors died on the spot, while the mother was taken to the hospital, but could not survive her injuries.

After the crime, Borilovic called the victim's next of kin and told him "I killed your family and mine", and left the apartment, but that was not enough.

He entered the house of the neighbors, the Drecun family, opened fire killing three people, the elderly couple Danijela, Dimitrije, their son Rajko Drecun, and seriously injured their grandson Aleksandar Drecun (32 years old).

The 34-year-old continued to shoot, sparing neither his uncle Goran Gjurishic, nor his neighbors Milan Mitrovic Aleksandra and Danijela Radunovic.

He then injured four more neighbors, as well as the policeman Ljubisha Maksimović, who tried to neutralize him during the exchange of fire.

The bloody massacre stopped the killer when one of his neighbors opened fire killing him.

"We're all still in shock, I can't believe what he did. I heard that debt was the cause of this terrible massacre. He had problems with the neighbor, he killed him, but why his innocent wife and children", said a relative of the killer for Kurir.

Borilovic is reported to be the father of three children. His wife and children were not at home on the day of the crime, but in Herceg Novi.

Boriloviç vetëm 15 ditë më parë, dyshohet se hyri në shtëpinë e një fqinji të tij dhe ua theu gjërat. Dje pasdite, sipas burimeve të brendshme, ai do duhej të shkonte Spitalin Psikiatrik në Dobrotë, për shkak të problemeve mendore që kishte shfaqur së fundmi.

Ai kishte dërguar fëmijët dhe gruan në Herceg Novi dhe sipas fqinjëve ishte shumë i mbyllur.

Mes viktimave të masakrës ishte edhe daja i sulmuesit, i cili kur dëgjoi për ngjarjen, u nis për ta penguar atë nga sulmet e mëtejshme ndaj fqinjëve.

Sipas një dëshmitari okular, vrarësi e goditi me një plumb në gjoks.

"Goran told Vuk to stop. He addressed him: What's stopping me? Who sent you!, and then shot him with a single bullet," the witness said.

Borilovic fired at anyone who tried to stop him, including the police, seriously injuring one officer.

Citizens emphasize that no one could foresee such a tragedy and that everything could have ended differently.

"If the police had responded in time after the first attack on the neighbors and searched Borilovic's house, they would probably have found the weapon and taken it away," says one of the fellow citizens.

Another added: "He was calm and diligent, he was a hunter and he had a rifle, but it's unclear why he did it, he wasn't like that, he wasn't a problem."
