British Border Force and French Navy ships clash to 'hand over'

British government ships and French navy vessels are working together in the Channel to ensure the 'surrender' of smugglers' boats bringing illegal immigrants to the UK.

The DailyMail has revealed that there have been some clashes in their radio chats. In the video published on a public channel, French warships and the French maritime police are heard contacting the Border Force vessels Defender, Hurricane and Ranger to arrange the handover of the boats carrying migrants, which included 5 children.

Chat between ships indicates that the French Navy is routinely guiding migrant boats from the French coast to mid-channel rendezvous with the British, who then put the passengers on board to bring them to Dover.

The revelations come as Home Secretary Suella Braverman met her French counterparts to agree a deal which she hopes will stop Channel ships bringing 40,000 migrants to the UK this year causing a crisis as the Home Office tries to deal with the large number of immigrants, most of them from Albania. 

The three radio conversations between the French and British ships took place between 10:00 and 11:00 UK time on Remembrance Sunday. They begin with the captain of the French warship Pluvier calling the Protector to say, "We've just passed into your area."

The defense officer replies: 'We have good visibility of this (immigrant) craft. We will ensure that there is no marine traffic to interfere. We are content to let the immigrant ship go a little further.'

Pluvier then replies, 'I understand we have a delivery with you.'

The defender agrees, requesting that the French ship 'remain in the present area until we begin boarding'.

Policia franceze thotë: 'Ne jemi në rrugën tonë duke ardhur me një varkë emigrantësh. Jeni gati t'i pranoni apo jo?'

Uragani i Forcave Kufitare përgjigjet: "Sapo na caktuan për një ngjarje tjetër, por ka një anije tjetër në rrugën e saj me një ETA (koha e parashikuar e mbërritjes) prej rreth 20 minutash.

Oficeri i BF pyet policinë detare franceze: 'Nëse mund të qëndroni me ta derisa të arrijë atje një anije tjetër që është Border Force Ranger'.

Duke thënë se ka marrë mesazhin, policia detare premton se anija e tyre do të qëndrojë pranë varkës së emigrantëve derisa Forca Kufitare Ranger të arrijë në pikën e marrjes midis ujërave të Kanalit Francez dhe Britanik.

Në një regjistrim të tretë disa minuta më vonë, policia detare franceze i thotë BF Ranger-it luftanija e tyre është 'tani në anën tuaj të djathtë'.

“Ne kontaktuam Uragani BF pak më parë”, thuhet në mesazhin francez. "Normalisht, ju vini në pozicionin tonë për të marrë përgjegjësinë e varkës së vogël [emigrantëve] që po shoqërojmë."

Ranger përgjigjet: 'Ne do t'i afrohemi pozicionit tuaj për momentin. Ne do të jemi në vendngjarje për rreth pesë minuta.

Përgjigja është e paqartë për shkak të ndërhyrjeve në internet, por Ranger-it i thuhet se ka emigrantë të rritur dhe 'pesë fëmijë'.

Ranger ends the conversation with the words: ' We will be with you soon. See if you can hold a station while we board [the migrants].'

It is likely that the overt level of cooperation between the French and the British on migrant crossings will be contested by Braverman.
