The Russian Duma ratifies the annexation of four Ukrainian regions

The Russian Duma has unanimously ratified the laws on the annexation of four Ukrainian regions to Russia.

The Guardian reports that not a single MP voted against President Vladimir Putin's bill and constitutional amendments to incorporate the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk and Luhansk regions into Russia.

Lawmakers in Russia's upper house and federation council are expected to formalize the illegal annexation of four Ukrainian territories into Russia tomorrow.
