Odessa has been hit by rocket attacks.

One person was killed and five were injured when a shopping mall and a warehouse were hit, Ukraine's armed forces say.

Russian tank-backed forces are conducting "storm operations" at the Mariupol plant in Azovstal, according to Ukraine's defense ministry.

The Russian military continues its military aggression on Ukraine.

Odessa was hit again by rockets, where one person was left dead and 5 others were injured in a shopping mall. The attacks took place during a visit to the city by European Council President Charles Michel. 

During the night, a Russian missile destroyed the Monastery of St. George in Svyatogorsk, eastern Ukraine, which dates back to 1526 where many refugees were sheltered. 

US President Joe Biden has signed a bill aimed at improving US military assistance to Ukraine and other Eastern European allies. 

The move evokes the World War II Lending Act, which allowed the U.S. to accelerate $ 50 billion in aid to allies fighting Nazi Germany.
