A man stabbed several others at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris on Wednesday morning, French media reported. The attacker was "quickly neutralized" by the police, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter, without giving further details.
According to reports, the attack took place at 06:40 inside the train station. The station where the attack is reported to have taken place is one of the busiest stations in Europe and is an important line connecting Paris, London and northern Europe.
Police have surrounded the scene and that trains are operating normally, Franceinfo reported. Meanwhile, BFM television said that the police used firearms to arrest the suspect.
