Four Albanian citizens were caught with a large amount of cocaine while staying in a hotel room in Italy.
The operation was carried out a few days ago by the Italian anti-mafia in the Celle Ligure region, where the Albanians had occupied a simple hotel room and inside they were carrying 353 kilograms of cocaine.
The media in Italy say that the authorities have not provided much information since the operation is considered very secret, while the owner of the "bed and breakfast" hotel where the four Albanians stayed together with the large load of cocaine is not involved.
The operation was carried out by the anti-mafia of Bari, who had kept the Albanians under surveillance for several days.
The identity of the arrested persons is not disclosed, and it remains unclear where the cargo arrived from and where the final destination was.
