President Bajram Begaj will convene the National Security Council regarding the Vlora Hyseni case. The National Security Council meeting is expected to be held next Monday. 

One of the reasons is the fact that Prime Minister Edi Rama is abroad and is expected to return to Albania on September 26.

The meeting comes at a time when the issue of the security of classified information is in the spotlight, following the decision of the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime to impose the security measure "house arrest" on Hysen.

On September 21, the GJKKO imposed the measure of "house arrest" on the former director of SHISH, as well as "suspension of the exercise of a public duty or service", at the request of the Special Prosecution Office.

According to SPAK, Hyseni is under investigation within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 20/1, for the criminal offenses of "revealing state secrets" and "supporting the perpetrator of the crime".
