Salillari receives 2.6 billion lek without competition from KESH

The line that will connect the two electricity production ships that have arrived at the Port of Vlora will be built by the Salillari company.

Pigeon Salillari has won another fattening tender. The Albanian Electricity Corporation has given the 'oligarch' 260 million lek without competition.

Salillari was the only competing company in this tender, where the limit fund was 280 million lek.

The offer given by Salillari is over 90 percent of the limit fund.

The tender with shortened procedure by KESH was opened on August 29. The deadline for the submission of offers was until September 14, and on September 14, Pëllumb Salillari was declared the winner as the only participant.

The tender has been classified as a red flag by Open Data for lack of competition.

Ironic is the fact that KESh gives tenders without competition at a time when citizens are asked to warm themselves with blankets this winter. The Energy Regulatory Authority approved the placement of the 800 kilowatt band. After this decision, up to 100,000 Albanian families may pay four times more energy prices.
