The Supreme Prosecutor's Council has adopted the regulation for the prosecutor's ethics and conduct standards, where rates do not include the obligation only during working hours, but also in private life.

The regulator says the prosecutor should not use his status as a prosecutor in his private life. He should not create an impression that he will exercise power over third parties, or make them think that the prosecutor, even on a personal and private level, has the right to exercise the powers that the law attributes to him during his activity.

The other point prohibits the prosecutor from frequenting public environments, which damage his image and consequently also the image of the justice system, while alcohol is also banned, within and outside work hours.

"They should not frequent environments or premises, which damage his image as a prosecutor. The prosecutor does not consume alcoholic beverages during the exercise of office, while outside the exercise of office he does not consume alcoholic beverages to the extent that can affect his behavior and which are contrary to the dignity of the prosecutor's office", the regulations state.

As far as prosecutors' executives are concerned, the code of conduct also charges them with protecting the image of justice, within and outside work hours.

"During the exercise of the leadership position, in relations with the third parties must protect the image of justice, show the seriousness and dignity that the public expects from the prosecutorial system", says the regulator.
