Tirana

The rivers of concrete in the capital show no signs of stopping, as the government approves a series of new towers.

But now the epidemic has spread beyond Tirana and has also included the coastal city of Vlora, where permits for high-rise buildings are increasingly being granted.

The National Council for Territory and Water approved in its last two meetings, in February and March, construction or development permits for 16 high-rise buildings in Tirana and 8 others in Vlora. The height of the towers ranges from 20 to almost 50 floors.

According to documents published by the Territorial Development Agency, construction permits have been approved in the capital for the 26-story Im Rezidence tower on Dajlan Avdia, the 34-story one on Bulevardi i Ri being built by Lulzim Mehmetaj, and the Oberon Tower by Orges Kushi.

A building permit has also been approved for the Sima Tower residence, the Guri Tower building, a 21-story tower on Shkodra Street that will be built by the Xhajs Tirana company.

Dulakët, Hanxhari, Bami...
Dulakët have received a building permit for a multifunctional building up to 31 floors on 29 Nëntotori Street, while Fatmir Hanxhari has been approved in record time for a 47-story building at the American Embassy. The development permit for the high tower was approved only two months ago.

On Teodor Keko Street, Great Ring Rock, a 32-story tower with three construction companies, will be built, while the Paris Municipality has approved a construction permit for a 35-story tower from the Sara El and Luan Bregasit company.

Bami Holding has received the construction permit for the Barcelona Tower, a 35-story building that will be built next to the former State Security, while permits have also been approved for the 35-story Sunrise Tower and the Split Tower, which includes two towers with 22 and 23 floors.

Vlora
The craze for tall concrete monsters has already affected the coastal city of Vlora. During the last two meetings, the KKTU has approved permits for the 21-story Flatiron of Vlora, the 24-story Salterra tower, and another 28-story one for the Adriatic Center society.

The Vlora Kollozet have received a construction permit for a tourist complex with buildings up to 14 floors, while Vasil Bedini's Regina Group has received a permit for a complex with 11 and 13 floors on Zenel Murra Street.

In parallel, the KKT has approved the construction permit for the power plant to be built in Roskovec by Terna and Gener 2, as well as the Spitalla solar park for the French Voltalias.
