Farmers and ranchers will be given more opportunities to increase land use and create livestock farms according to appropriate standards. Referring to the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture, published in the official notebook and now in force, the surface of the land used for the construction of greenhouses has increased, aiming to use the land from 70% to 90% in order to enable the farmer to build greenhouses larger, or use the current greenhouses that have been built for a higher capacity, thus giving the opportunity to increase the amount of production and value.

The changes in the law also affect auxiliary and functional facilities, which are developed on a single floor, to have a greater storage and preservation capacity, including refrigerated warehouses that make it possible to achieve the target standards of farmers' production products. .

The law has also changed regarding the improvement of construction parameters for stables, increasing their height up to 6 meters from the previous 4.50 m and no more than 12 meters above the roof.

The maximum volume parameters of the object have also been increased, changes in height in the increase of volume in agricultural and livestock facilities, allowing when the subjects increase the height and not be hindered by the limitations of the volume parameters. This gives the opportunity to meet the best standards for animal welfare, but also to increase the breeding capacity of animals for medium and large farms.

For the construction of stables that breed over 50 units of cattle, the previous distance criteria have been reduced. Concretely, they must be built 15 m - 20 m from the boundaries of the property; 400 m – 500 m from residential areas; 50m – 100m from the nearest apartment separated from the urban centers.

The impact expected from these changes is the increase in production, not only in the greenhouses or new enterprises that can be created, but also in the existing ones due to the increase in volume, the expansion of spaces and the optimal use of the current surface. In the assessment of the experts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, an increase in production at the level of 15-20% is considered if the standards defined in the decision are met.
