Chamber of Commerce reservations for fiscal 2023 package: Focuses on penalties

The Chamber of Commerce round table for the 2023 fiscal package was held this Wednesday.

During his speech, Nikolin Jaka said that the new fiscal package is insufficient and that it is focused on penalties and fines. He further added that the economy needs radical intervention.

" The price crisis has put entrepreneurship in front of great challenges. Manufacturing industries are facing costs that go over 50%. The Chamber of Commerce, being familiar with the new fiscal package, says that the economy needs radical intervention.

The fiscal package is not only not sufficient, it is focused on multiplying penalties and fines. No state applies fines that are 10 times the damage.

The government should undertake a structured package focusing on the manufacturing industries and business as a whole. There should be a reduction in the fiscal burden and the drafting of a law on fiscal amnesty ," said Nikolin Jaka.
