The year-end bonus for pensioners is approved by the government. How many people

The Council of Ministers approved the decision to reward pensioners and other persons who benefit from financial treatments with the year-end bonus, in the amount of 5 thousand ALL, with a total fund of 3.5 billion ALL .

The Minister of Economy and Finance Ervin Mete announces that "the end-of-year bonus will be distributed together with the monthly pensions during the month of December by the Social Insurance Institute. The reward can be withdrawn from the beneficiaries even after the end of the year holidays".

This is the second bonus given this year, after the one granted in April, which will benefit about 700,000 pensioners , but also other categories that benefit from financial treatments.

In the last three years, 25 billion ALL have been allocated for the indexation of pensions, which with the estimated budget for the next year will reach nearly 30 billion ALL and will have a permanent effect on the state budget.

However, this remains a modest help for pensioners, when we see that the prices of products keep increasing.
