The Energy Regulatory Body has published the list of 26 entities that provide electricity supply services to businesses that are in the liberalized energy market.

This step comes after the announcement of the Electricity Distribution Operator for 2103 businesses connected to the 20 kV voltage, which will no longer be supplied by the Universal Service Supplier, which until now played the role of Supplier of Last Chance.

With full liberalization, these subscribers will have to select one of the suppliers, which is on the list published by ERE, to then conclude the supply contract, where, among other things, the price at which the service will be offered will be determined .

Until now, this category of businesses paid 18.8 Lek/kWh, a price set by ERE under a scheme aimed at not exposing them to high prices caused by the crisis.

Referring to the published list, the highest number of businesses that will no longer be supplied with energy by OSHEE is located in Tirana. More specifically, in this district there are 1040 subjects that enter the liberalized market. Then comes Durrës, with 686 contracts, Shkodra with 117 contracts and Elbasan with 62 contracts.

Other businesses that enter the free energy market operate in Gjirokastër, Fier, Berat, Vlorë and Kukës.
