How many complaints were registered for tenders in 2023? Public procurement

814 complaints were registered by the Public Procurement Commission in the 11 months of the past year. Referring to official data, the months of July and November have resulted in the highest complaints with 107 respectively.

But what is the complaints section?

Complaints registered for public procurement procedures reached 732.

As for the complaints according to the stage of the process for which the complaint was submitted, it turns out that in the 11 months of 2023, a total of 356 complaints were made about Standard Tender Documents, while 429 were complained about Bid Evaluation.

From January to November, according to the type of contract, 66 such complaints were registered for public works, 518 for goods, and 227 complaints were addressed for services.

To stop at the complaints by districts, the district of Tirana leads for the highest number of complaints reaching 530 in total for 11 months, followed by the districts of Shkodra and Vlora with respectively 48 and 40 complaints. The districts of Elbasan, Durrës and Fier have 39, 38 and 37 complaints respectively, while the district of Korcë has 26 such complaints.

The last 5 districts with the fewest complaints are Dibra with 14, Gjirokastra with 12, Lezha and Kukës with 11 and 10 complaints, respectively. The district of Berat turns out to be the district with the fewest complaints in terms of public procurements, where only 9 such were noted.
