A beautiful day can be a day like today, for several reasons: Saturday, public holiday, cool weather after the scorching temperatures of July! What can ruin such a day? A disaster? An unpleasant event? A bad news?

Looking at the news with subtitles that today's news televisions carry (there are more than 10 televisions with 24-hour news), you are impressed by the fact that they are filled with crime news from the morning and what news:

1- Fier injured the mother - prison sentence for the son (elaborated with some other news)

2- A 67-year-old man is found in the canal! (8 explanatory news with subtitles)

3- Tirana, in handcuffs A. M and I. F (with full identity)

4- 3 citizens are being processed, they worked as call center operators

5- The 27-year-old man was arrested for raping his ex-partner! (Detailed in subsequent news)

6- The 33-year-old man from Zall Mneri is handcuffed for carrying weapons without a permit!

7- 5 police officers are suspended!

8- 880 hectares of land burned in France!

9- The greetings of political leaders for Kurban Bayram

10...

The reflected news is not fake news, it is not propaganda or disinformation served by politics! They have no problems with ethics. It's real news. But again the sum of these news distorts the reality!

Not everything that happens must be known! The media is to select, process and broadcast news of importance and interest to the public!

Such news is hardly of interest to the public, of course they are not of interest to their families, maybe they are of interest to the community where they live! In the extreme case, they can constitute news for the media of the city where the event takes place, but assesi news to inform the whole of Albania!

One of the main criteria for an event to become news is the geographical criteria! The closer the event, the more interesting it is! Not infrequently we are informed on television with national coverage about tragedies that happen in Sri Lanka, about fires in Australia or about gun violence in the USA! (The worst is when events that happened thousands of kilometers away from us in an attempt to get more attention and clicks are presented as if they happened in Albania).

If in China, the USA or elsewhere, every bicycle accident, every stop made by the police, or traffic victims would be reported, there would have to be hundreds of televisions to cover these "events"!

More than the lack of news, perhaps it is the lack of journalists that leads to the coverage of police reports in detail! Result: general neurosis. It seems that in this country there are only murders, accidents, victims, arrests and statements of politicians!

It is in the nature of the media to dramatize, exaggerate, tension, conflict, but it is in everyone's interest to have a picture that is not only black, not black and white, but a real picture of life with all the good and bad, with all the surprises and challenges it brings!

By nature we are curious to know as much as possible not only about what is happening in our community, but also beyond it. But like everything else, curiosity has its limits! (The news 4-year-old is attacked by a leopard certainly gets a lot of clicks, but if the headline says: India, 4-year-old is attacked by a leopard, the "news" would not be clicked anymore, so it would be worthless)

The bad news is the good news! But there are many cases where the bad news is not only not good, it is not news at all!

Good journalism makes Kurban the bad and not the good!
