Fire in Kruja

The Municipality of Kruja has issued an immediate evacuation order for residents of the Barab area, Lluban, due to the situation created by the fire.

"The process is being carried out in coordination with the National Civil Protection Agency, the Prefect of Durrës District and the Civil Emergency structures of the Krujë Municipality, with the support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Police and the Armed Forces. We ask that priority be given to children, the elderly, people with disabilities and families in isolated areas. Residents of the area should follow the instructions of the authorities on the ground and cooperate with the emergency structures ," the Municipality announced.

On the ground, numerous firefighting forces with the support of 3 Air Force helicopters, along with the operational forces of local structures.

Earlier, Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari announced that the person who started the fire, which later got out of control, has been arrested.
