As the search continues to find the perpetrator of the murder of 20-year-old Johan Zuko, new details have been revealed from the moment the crime occurred.

The perpetrator shot the victim from behind as he was climbing the stairs of a building to escape. The incident occurred on the third floor.

The place is filled with the victim's blood, in front of a lady's apartment.

One of the residents of this building has told of the moment when Zuko's body was found.

Initially, she explained that she heard a loud noise and that she personally thought someone might have fallen down the stairs. When she left the apartment, her neighbor on the third floor told her to call the authorities.

"What can I tell you? I was inside the house. And for a moment… I heard a loud noise like something was crashing. And I told my mother, I told my mom, that I was alone with my mom, I'm going out to see what's going on. I said don't let anyone fall down the stairs and that I should help them."

And as soon as I got out here, when that woman on the third floor, because it was done at her door, she was shouting loudly: 'Call the police, the ambulance.' I ran up to see a man lying on the ground, unconscious. And I said, 'Maybe it's her child.'

And I said to her: 'What's going on like this?'. 'I don't know,' she tells me. We couldn't gather ourselves at all. I saw the boy there, a two-meter-tall boy, lying on the ground, covered in blood, and blood was pouring out of his head. And I don't... I don't know. Then the police came," she said.

She also emphasized that the victim was not known to residents, as he was not from this area.

"We don't know him at all. He's not from our building. He's not from our building. I don't even know where he lives, or where... I don't know. Very shocked. Terrible!" she said.

The event took place this Saturday, August 8, in neighborhood 14 of Korça.

Initial reports indicate that the victim and the suspected perpetrator were friends and grew up together.

It is suspected that the perpetrator followed the 20-year-old to the neighborhood where the incident occurred. The victim, who was not a resident of the area, is said to have attempted to hide inside a building, but the perpetrator is suspected of having followed him and shot him to death inside the building.

The suspected perpetrator has a criminal record for illegal possession of weapons and assault.
