KAVAJA

A 31-year-old man,  Neldi Hallulli,  was arrested in Kavaja after allegedly taking a Kalashnikov to kill 38-year-old  Indrit Rama , with whom he had previously had a conflict.

The police intervened after receiving information about the fight and caught Hallulli while he was carrying the Kalashnikov, preventing the murder.

The weapon and ammunition were seized.


Meanwhile, Indrit Rama was placed on free status under investigation .

The latter is accused of "other intentional harm" after punching the 31-year-old.

"After receiving information on operational channels that a conflict was taking place in the Spille area, Rrogozhina, the Police services were organized and intervened immediately to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

As a result of the quick and coordinated actions of the services of the Kavaja Police Commissariat and the Rrogozhina Police Post, it was possible to capture citizen NH in flagrante delicto. At the time of the intervention of the Police services, this citizen was carrying a firearm, a "Kalashnikov".

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that citizen NH had a conflict with citizen IR and, following the conflict, it is suspected that he intended to kill him.

The immediate intervention of the Police services made it possible to prevent a serious criminal event, avoiding the escalation of the conflict and serious consequences for the life of the 38-year-old.

Following the actions, citizen IR was also criminally prosecuted for "Other intentional damage", because he punched citizen NH, causing minor bodily harm, Durrës Police announced.
