Citizens gathered again this Friday, August 7, in front of the Prime Minister's Office in the 69th consecutive protest against the government.

One protester stressed that the protest has clearly shown that the demand for the prime minister's resignation is non-negotiable.

"It is resistance from an order that makes our livelihood impossible and that has no representation. These are the days of a new era in the history of Albanians. We must also consider continuity. These have done nothing to annul the laws. We will demand justice for the functioning of institutions and after the resignation of the government.

Violence and anger are not part of our alternative… We have discovered an exemplary citizenship that cannot be found even in the West. On our right path lies citizenship and love for oneself, one's country and one another… Will we return to the SP-PD soap operas? Not because here in the square we have divided our minds, "Albania seeks revolution", he said.
