Paola Spaho, receptionist at the hotel where she was allegedly shot with a firearm, according to the police, 31-year-old Eraldo Novruzi, has spoken to the media about the incident.
She stated that the 31-year-old had started work only 5 days ago, while there he was introduced as a person who did not know any of the hotel managers.
"Last night at 22:30 I left my shift and he replaced me.
I was supposed to change the shift at 23:00, but he came earlier.
I sleep here in the hotel and I haven't felt anything. Mom was sleeping. I was on my cell phone. It surprised us a lot since the two of them did not have any contact unlike the others.
I found out about the incident from 09:00 this morning when my mom came and brought me breakfast. According to them, the incident happened in the parking lot, in the staff rooms.
We will continue the work. The police questioned us. We gave statements about the information we had.
He came here and asked for work as an unknown. First he looked for a job as a barista. Then, they told him that you will have to wait until the bar starts, but now you can work at the reception", said Paola Spaho.
The serious incident allegedly happened shortly after midnight, around 00:30 on Thursday.
Gerald Shehu, co-owner of a hotel in Dhërmi, according to the police, shot Eraldo Novruzit, 31 years old from Tirana, who worked as a receptionist at the hotel.
Until now, the 31-year-old continues to be missing, while Shehu has been arrested in Greece.
