Elections in five municipalities, Celibashi indicates when vote counting will

Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, in communication with the media after the closing of the voting process, provided the latest details on the process.

He said that the total turnout for the 5 municipalities was 18.4%, while adding that Vlora had the lowest number of citizens who participated in the vote.

He added that the count will begin tonight at 10:00 PM and is expected to end tomorrow at noon.

"The delivery of the material base and ballot boxes to the counting centers has begun. The counting and data will be transmitted in real time on the CEC website. For the municipality of Tepelena, in addition to the manual counting, the evaluation of the ballots will be carried out through artificial intelligence and the counting data using artificial intelligence. The counting process will begin around 10 p.m. and we hope to finish it by noon on Monday," said Celibashi.
