Tragic accident in Italy, two young Albanians lose their lives (NAMES)

A serious car accident occurred on Sunday morning on the southern ring road of Bergamo, on the state road 470 "della Val Brembana", near Stezzano. Three people lost their lives in the collision between a Mercedes and a "Citroën Berlingo" van, including two young people of Albanian origin.

The victims are Clinton Sala, 23, from Melzo (Milan), the driver of the Mercedes that allegedly caused the accident, and Denis Cana, 21, from Lodi. The two were friends and were traveling together. The third victim is Oscar Angioletti, 62, from Zanica (Bergamo), who was in the van with his 64-year-old brother, who was seriously injured.

According to preliminary investigations by the carabinieri, the Mercedes attempted to overtake another car in an area with a continuous double lane, entering the opposite lane and colliding directly with the van.

Emergency crews, firefighters and traffic police responded to the scene. The section of the road where the incident occurred was closed for several hours for investigations.
